Essex Performing Arts & Music School is an OFSTED registered school providing weekly dance classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Commercial/Street Dance, Private Coaching and 1 to 1 Piano lessons. All classes are taught by highly trained teachers registered with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). All Teachers are DBS certified, First Aid trained and hold a Level 3 Certification in Safeguarding.

All students have the opportunity to complete accredited RAD, ISTD and ABRSM exams, as well as performing in shows, competitions and performances at various events. We cater for children age 3 upwards offering fun and interactive classes building confidence and developing key technique, performance skills and musicality.

Our aim is to give children and adults of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn and enjoy a wide range of dance styles as well as promoting a healthier lifestyle. Our curriculum is carefully designed to develop and stimulate children at every stage, focusing on promoting key skills and more importantly having fun!
